Hao Wu obtained his bachelor’s degree in nuclear engineering and technology in 2017 at Tsinghua University, and master’s degree in nuclear energy science and engineering in 2020 at Southwestern Institute of Physics in China. He started his PhD at Ghent University in 2021. His work is about the integrated analysis of fusion data using Bayesian probability theory. The goal is to estimate the tungsten impurity concentration on WEST, based on soft X-ray spectroscopy and other measurements.
