Leonardo Caputo

Leonardo Caputo obtained the master degree in theoretical physics at the University of Bologna. He gained expertise in data science and coding at leading companies like Accenture and Porini. He then went on teaching predictive maintenance, electronics and physics at high schools.

Currently, Leonardo is a PhD candidate in engineering physics working on predictive maintenance for fusion devices. Applications involve the use of machine learning for the characterization of damage of plasma-facing components and anomaly detection for failure detection in the JET Ohmic heating circuit.
